I'm back with the alphabet! Let's move on to letter O...

This is another quicky for me... for what appears to be a trend for me as of late

Mike Oldfield - man, he really lost me as time went on... but as of late, if there is one I can still enjoy it is Amarok, so let that be my pick.

Osibisa - s/t

Oysterhead - Grand Pecking Order

The Ozric's - Erpland

There you have it! Smile

Just out of curiosity... is anyone here old enough to have experienced the 60s as a teen or young adult (b. 1946 or prior) ??

Born in 2001... I can only imagine what it was like. And even then it's hard because color video became prominent around about 70' or 71' and not a lot of that footage survived the test of time - possibly due to the low emphasis placed on the durability of the format. I should think many people back then took the period for granted - thinking the spark of creativity would last forever. Little did they know... here we are in 2024

I have by far the most of Mike Oldfield (I love Tubular Bells just as much as Ommadawn) and a few of the Ozrics. I like to mention "Herd of Instinct" by .O.rang, the best O-album.

No, no cookie monster vocals on that Opeth album. It's retro-prog monster only. LOL

No "cookie (cutter) monster vocals" on the highlighted Osanna album either. You're safe.

Not me. I was born in the year of '59, which I truly believe was the absolute best year to be born, especially for a music lover, telly addict and movie buff like me. Thumbs Up
