Hi
Just wanted to let you know that a new web site dedicated to the
legendary Marquee club in London has been opened recently. It is the
first time that the club has been tributed to in the media on this scale. It
features gigs databases, history, photo hgalleries, memories, and other
content. As you know, this is the place where bands like Jethro Tull, Yes
and Genesis started their careers. During the late 70's it hosted the gigs
of Camel, the Enid, Greenslade, and other progressive bands. And later, it
was the home of the new progressive bands in the early 80's like
Marillion, Pallas, Pendragon, IQ... The site is collecting memories from
the people who were in the audience at those memorable concerts. Also
exclusive interviews will start to be published soon. The first interviewed
artists are Glenn Cornick from Jethro Tull and Phil Collins from Genesis. I
hope you find it interesting and maybe share your memories if you ever
were at the Marquee.

Thanks! In the early Eighties I visited the Marquee Club in the Wardour Street and I was amazed that the entry was so small! I will have a look on the site, I'm sure it will bring back some very pleasant memories!
