into the band.... I can't think of any. It seems like most don't wanna go back, and if they did, they probably wouldn't publicize it. Lots of those who were fired, although I just had one in the tip of my fingertips but just forgot.

Though he quit of his own accord-nobody wanted him to leave-Triumvirat's musician/lead singer/songwriter the late Helmut Koellen, who left Triumvirat around the end of the touring in support of the record Spartacus at the end of 1975, was later asked to return to the band, and he did, but for various reasons-a main one being that he found their newer music somewhat outside of his vocal range-he did not stay. At that time, he was also having to deal with issues surrounding the German draft of soldiers going on. Undaunted by all this, he was involved in session work with the German group "Jail" in 1976, and of course his solo album he was working on. Then there was his passing on on May 3rd, 1977, with his work in "Jail" and his solo album released as a final testament to his talent and capabilities......RIP, Helmut.

I might have to look into some books for the details.

I find it fascinating how you're always trying to shoehorn in Triumvirat into every discussion! xD I know you're obsessed with that band but this is getting ridiculous! xD

no offense; that's just my observation | You have upset me, and I do take offense to your comments; everybody has a right on this forum to talk about whatever prog band they want to, and how many times they want to; if you don't like it, just scroll on. Frankly, i know a lot of people on this forum that are fixated or "obsessed" if you want to bring that term into it, on some band; if you don't like it, take a hike, and get a life, instead of getting negative about it. I don't really care what you say, Triumvirat are the band I am most fixated on because they are my favorite band-c'est la vie.

Why you so upset? I didn't insult you, I only expressed my amazement at your crazy dedication to a great band! And gave you a friendly suggestion you might sometimes tone down your enthusiasm so you don't sound... awkward.

IC. Nothing wrong with that.

I have been going great guns on Triumvirat since I joined PA in 2010, but I also have other bands I talk about on the forums here, and have been doing both without any complaints....it isn't so awkward.... Anyways, I get that you mean no offense, but you have to be a bit more sensitive to how you approach a situation like this, and how you come across.... Merry Christmas and best of the new year to you....
