...

Hi,

Very nice ... and enjoyable.

For my ears, this is a reminder of a lot of the early ECM recordings, that had a natural peace to them, and yet some of the material just floated really nicely through. There really is not a whole lot of ground breaking, or ground shaking here, and this is NOT an album for PA in terms of "progressive" at all, but it fits within an experimental area for a lot of music. Nothing here is a "song" per se. All of the pieces, like the early ECM material, feel completely improvised with a few additions here and there for touch, but in general, the idea seems to be to flow with the "moods" created, which are very nice indeed.

Not a great album, in terms of the kind of listening that we seem to like the most, but one that is a wonderful change of pace from the hectic material that we always seem attracted to.

This is a nice album. I might have liked to see some of these small pieces extended, since they are very short all for my tastes, but that does not exactly take away from the work. You still fall into it, and the next piece is just as nice and tempting as the one before.

Very nice.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
