What do those star ratings signify?  Who dolloped out such shyte?  Anyway, the Smiths 'cause I just ate a proper English breakfast.....maybe on another day the Muses would be on top.....and I always dig Skylarking and Evol whenever they're on the hi-fi.  Graceland and So speak for themselves and are equally deserving of top spot, but today it's the Smiths.....Marr!

They're my own cockeyed star ratings. Just ignore them - everyone else does. Tongue

Is Intruder The Eleventh Earl of Marr ?

Oooops - didn't mean to disparage a fellow PA poster.  I thought Rolling Stone, P'fork or another of the anti-prog mainstream media threw those reviews at us.  Again, sorry....but, man-o-manaschvitz, give Skylarking another spin!  Eleventh Earl of Marr couldn't get 'em down that far.

Sorry, I'm just not a fan of XTC (you may have noticed Wink) and their albums leave me feeling less than ecstatic, but maybe there's a 3-star XTC album lurking out there somewhere. By the way, I once had a boss named Nigel which, unfortunately for me, meant I couldn't get that "awful" XTC song out of my head: "I'm Always Making Plans for Nigel". In the meantime though, I'm making plans for the next poll in the 1001 Albums series. Tongue
