Anyone else stream music through Bandcamp? I have been increasingly using Bandcamp as a source of music and working from home, it's convenient for me to stream music through my phone using WiFi.

I usually sort my Bandcamp collection by a-z or latest, but checked out my most played. Here's my top 10 albums, what's yours?

Noveller - Fantastic Planet
Ulaan Passerine - Sun Spar
Ghost Power - Ghost Power
TEKE::TEKE - Hagata
DJ Spooky w/ Kronos Quartet - Rebirth of a Nation
Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp - We're OK, But we're lost anyway.
3rd Ear Experience with Dr. Space - Ear to Space
we broke the weather - we broke the weather
DakhaBrakha - The Road
Teeth of the Sea - Wraith

I use it to buy stuff from smaller artists if it's not on CD, but streaming is kind of pointless since I'd only have access to a small percentage of my music. Everything I buy on bandcamp goes in iTunes along with by CDs, and it's all on my phone too if I need it on the go. Phone storages being the size they are these days and micro-SDs being so cheap means it's easy to have my whole collection on the go. So it never even occured to me that you can stream on BC.

I have one of those Galaxy phones without a storage card. For phone usage, I always stream. I have an Amazon Music subscription that I use for major artists and a fair number of what I have on Bandcamp is on Amazon but I purchase to support the smaller artists. I still listen on CDs or save digital files on a hard drive. What I have listed is skewed toward lesser known artists and more recent play. Previously, I had a phone with music saved on a card.

If I enjoy an album I'll usually buy it. I used to want physical copies but in my old age I find myself getting rid of stuff, including CD'S. So now it's usually downloads.

Most played from bandcamp: Wippy Bonstack - 22; Rascal Reporters - The Stainge Case of Steve; Marco Minnemann - Their Colors Fade; Eyeless Owl - Murmurations

Yeah I just want everything in one place. If even one album I like is not on a streaming service, then that's a no-go. And streaming services only tend to have the most recent remasters of albums, so they're out of the question for me anyway.

I have around 800 albums on Bandcamp and regularly use it to stream while working. I'm generally listening to things I've bought recently or things I'm looking to buy in the future.

Of the stuff I regularly revisit I'd guess it's

black midi - Cavalcade
Poil Ueda - s/t
Anteloper - Pink Dolphins
Anna Meredith - Varmints
jaimie branch - fly or die
Alex Ward - Gated
Squid - Bright Green Field
Black Country New Road -For the first time
Schnellertollermeier - 5
JG Thirlwell & Simon Steensland - Oscillospiro
Guapo - History Of Visitation
Heilung - Lifa
Far Corner - Risk
Yazz Ahmed - La Saboteuse
Gutbucket - Flock

Could be all sorts of stuff.

Bcamp is where I listen to and purchase 90% of my new music but I've never really used it as a streaming service after I've made my purchases! Good idea!
