Greetings all! I've been lurking on the board for a few weeks now and decided it was time to introduce myself. I've just in the last year gotten into progressive music pretty heavy. I'm an old classic rock junkie, Alice Cooper being one of my favorites (see avitar). I've always been a Floyd fan, but that's about it for progessive style music (I also like Rush). I've gotten into King Crimson pretty heavy. I'm trying to collect all that I can of theirs at this time. I hope to discover more prog bands to add to my cd closet (Now that I've got one kid in college, and another about there, I'm starting to collect cd's again  ). Anyway, that's enough for now. FYI, I'm also enjoying YES quite a bit and also Gentle Giant.L8R! NBS |

Thanks for the cool welcome messages everybody. I'm really
enjoying the forum. Yes, Maidenrulez, the avitar is from Alice
Cooper Goes To Hell. I was in jr highschool when that album came
out. I rember going after it the day it was released, then
playing it till the needle on the turntable was worn out, and my
parents nerves were shot from the loud music  .
By the way, I've been a Maiden fan since their first album. I saw
them the first time in 1984 with the Scorpions and Girlschool in Long
Beach California, great show by all the bands. L8R! |
