Let's share our experiences with epics released this year, if that's fine for you. I for now am proposing the first two, and waiting your input and comments to fill the other entries. Multiple vote is allowed, so you can vote right now, and again later, when more options will be added.

Enjoy!

If you want an epic track that melds late 70's Rush with early 80's Rush and a dash of Zeppelin, there's Crown Lands with the epic 18+ minute track Starlifter: Fearless Pt. II. Posting a live version to showcase that this a two-person band.

Comedy Of Errors - The Seventh Seal. I think the apocalyptic track of these Scottish makes a fine addition.

I propose "The Last Crystal Bearer" by Twilight Force; it's epic not just because of its length, but because of how friggin over-the-top grandiose it is!

Sprain - Margin for Error

I chose another off the same album for a recent Interactive Poll that focuses on less than ten minute tracks, but this epic is my favourite track off the album. Nice poll.

And aside from the mention, I will give a vote to the already in "The Beggar Lover (Three)".

It seems I failed providing an interesting song. I thought of Seven Impale and Agusa, or Zopp, which everyone has mentioned.
I also didn't want to post some metal or progressive metal related song, not many would appreciate. Embarrassed

I don't see a problem with the Metal stuff, maybe you could still seize the day and bring out your favorite while there's some room left.

For what it's worth, I'd like to hear it. Sometimes I forget just how much metal is golden to me (music I really appreciate).

^ Thanks. I'm listening to that and really liking it.

By the way, I'm not sure what counts as an epic. I see some tracks which are only about 10 minutes long, so if that's all it means then, while The Beggar Lover (Three) is THE epic of The Beggar, "Ebbing" is a great track from the same album with a, I think, really epic feel (crescendos help with that).
