It was a dark februar night, my Spotify was free flowing, usualy when i sleep and album is over it finds music based on random yet algorythmic pattern, a band with the not very noticeable name Sundays was playing. ... something just mezmerized me,,, or many varios jolts of electrizity sparkt frenzikly when the airflow and smoothness of a voice so childlije and soft, yet solid and melodicly pitch accurate, clear like a morning breeze.. struck y ears, the goose bumps came ....

I feel I both want to protect the rare secret that is Harriet Wheelers voice, bur i also believe shes one of the best singers i have heard sing into a microphone.

I can detect a perfect timbre when i first hear one, shes up there with Caren IMO, as one of the best natural and melodicly accurate voices i can remember hearing.

Sundays is still my most heard band in 2023... they are unique.

^ You know that Spotify is only accessible for those who have an account there? Bandcamp, youtoube, soundcloud are generally freely available to everyone without having to create an account. Might be something to consider?

This is just another way of saying that I refuse to create an account on Spotify. So, I cannot listen to what you bring forward here, unfortunately.

Thanks for the recommendation - I see Wiki classifies The Sundays as being related to the Dream Pop genre - an other passion of mine outside of the prog genre.

Harriett Wheeler is one of my favourite singers, wonderful voice.

Who's Caren btw?

Thank you, Christoffer, for the links. Got to listen to the tracks now; I had a vague memory of The Sundays, but this is very nice and indeed she has a great voice!

I hardly use the smartphone anymore, so I'm mainly on PC/laptop so for me - and maybe others - an embed makes it even easier to get to listen to the suggestions:

The Sundays - Can't Be Sure:

The Sundays - I Won:
