This is probably the first of these lists where your poll and Paul's contain only three of my top ten including my top three. But like you said lots of good albums and you can't include them all.

It's not that I hardly know any albums from these years, but frustratingly most that I know neither turn up on Paul's nor Drew's list. There's just too much music and too little time. Unhappy

Anyway my top three are the same as Ian's, but I'll vote for Jaga Jazzist.

1 - Areknames (masterpiece!!!!)
2 - Enslaved, great and unique band, black metal + folk + progresive
3 - Agalloch, another great one, but my fav is "The Mantle"
4 - Yugen, another great italian band
