Hello everyone !
With my band, we play orchestral prog rock, which means we actually use all the instruments of the orchestra
I love albums with orchestras like Harmonium's l'Heptade or Yes' second album, but I always feel like there's the band, and the the orchestra, as if it was separated or only considered as one instrument
Well I tried to not do that and to be closer to Atom Heart Mother.

Here is one of our tracks : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XjcBYroUbA
Yeah, on some tracks we're a LITTLE BIT insipred by Magma LOL

Anyway, our album can currently be preordered so if you're interested, here it is : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lightprogrock/light-new-album-the-path

Thanks !

Listening now. Thanks. It sounds like a modern take on the concept. So far so good.

I take it you guys are not related to this band? ;) http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6651

Thanks !

Yeah we're not related, unfortunately Light is a really common name for a band, and I didn't thought about it 13 years ago when I picked it LOL

Did you try to be added to the database on here? You could do that through the suggest a new artist section (if you haven't already).

Holy Moses! Purely by coincidence, I listened to a biblical epic by a band called "Light" just a couple of weeks ago, although there's obviously no connection to your  band (other than the name) as this band were formed in the Dutch town of Gouda, although there's nothing cheesy about their music. Tongue
