I bang on about these two UK 70's folk lps all the time but they have some of the eeriest atmospheres (apart from the obvious Comus First utterance) of Folk; they are 'Mr Fox' by Mr Fox and 'Bright Phoebus' by Mike and Lal Waterson. You didnt ask for for contemporary artists but if you had i would say Richard Dawson's 'Peasant' would win hands down. ------------- |

eerie = strange in a frightening and mysterious/angst-inducing way.
