Very sorry to hear this news - this trumpeter/cornetist should be far better known than he is.

I was first exposed to his playing when he contributed to Joshua Redman's Still Dreaming album (2018). His solo albums are much harder to find, but Trio (2000) and Circuit Rider (2014) are worth the search.
