I don’t like comparing studio and live albums, so the last four are mostly a result of the live albums having lots of great tracks, and the last two studio albums not so much. 1. 1. The Raven... 2. Hand... My two choices have Marco (drums) and Guthrie (guitar) 2/3 of the band The Aristocrats. Don't care for the other releases of Steven's. |

The remainder are how I would rank them today, but I might change my mind tomorrow, and probably would have come up with a different order yesterday. But Raven really doesn’t do a lot for me, and is easily my least favourite SW solo album, and TFB is just as easily my favourite. The Future Bites I don't own Home Invasion but looking at the ratings on PA I probably should! I deliberately put the Future Bites at no 8 so it gets just one point (for Personal Shopper mainly)

That's awesome! For me TFB will not be at that position on my list, but I have to say it has grown on me over this past year. There is some great Steven Wilson music on that album, if you know what I mean. What The Raven gives me is a mix of different styles of music, it has nothing to do whether I think it is his most prog record, but it has more that he included jazz rock, metal, ambient and hard rock in 6 songs. I really should have listed Insurgentes as my top album on my list.... -------------
