Well...

(from MSN  News)
No cause or other details were given, but Aday had numerous health scares over the years.

Now...that doesn't mean Covid didn't push him, like many others, over the edge.

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

A self-made man who created something from nothing.  An impressive life.

that first (and only) Bat Out Of Hall was a bit the soundtrack to my later teens, jyst like Crime Of The Century was my soundtrack for my earlier teens. Never cared fot the rest he did, though I did pay attention when hearing his name.

RIP Marvin Lee Aday. Cry

RIP.....never owned any of his records...that basic rock style of his just didn't interest me though he had a decent voice.

Well, that's why I said reportedly. Here is just one article that talks about it.  https://news.yahoo.com/meat-loaf-reportedly-died-becoming-140139723.html" rel="nofollow - Meat Loaf reportedly died after becoming 'seriously ill with COVID'

Obviously needs to be confirmed.

Sorry to see any one go from this life. Seemed like a very nice man , that booming voice and those staring wild eyes were massively over the top in the best operatic tradition , but it translated to rock music somehow.
RIP big fella.

Sad news, larger than life character.

I read yesterday that some of the session musicians on BOOH thought it was a joke, but it became the 4th best selling album of all time, so quite an achievement.

And now I know what he wouldn't do for love.

Hi,

From his biography ...

"I'm an actor that happens to sing. You have a problem with that?"

A sad go, and hopefully he now can relax and enjoy his time. He left behind a lot for us to enjoy for a long time to come!
