I can't be 100% sure, but I'm very convinced that Guaraldi quotes or "borrows" from the 1941 jazz standard "I Hear a Rhapsody" somewhere on this album, most likely his version of "O Tannenbaum". I first heard "I Hear a Rhapsody" through the Chick Corea album Trio Music Live in Europe (1986) and found myself instantly reminded of Guaraldi's soundtrack.
