I remember browsing through a list of intentionally similar album covers on Discogs.

https://www.discogs.com/lists/Parody-Tribute-Imitation-Inspiration/268989

While I really enjoyed browsing these, I wondered if you know some album covers which are unintentionally similar to others? I'd give the following example:

-------------
________
...that the storm really doesn't matter until the storm begins to get you down

I don't know about unintentionally similar, but:

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

^But only one is "none more black".
Smell the Glove!
Though at least one of these three was intentional. Possibly two.

I shared Magus / The Winter Tree's this visual art in our "Cover Chain Game", in the Just For Fun section. I believe this was not intentional. But, probably is related to the subconscious of the cover artist of Magus / The Winter Tree's album entitled Twilight of the Magicians. I tend to see such things within the scope of that which we call "coincidence".

The tree has a rather obscure "schizoid" face, and the neurotic eyes seems like looking in the same direction. The opening of the mouth is quite similar too.

BTW, I'm quite a lunatic in likening things to each other. But only occasionally mention them in order not to be seen as mad. Tongue

These two were lying next to each other in my CD collection. Danielle Dax - The Chemical Wedding and Terra Tenebrosa - The Tunnels:

Burnin Red Ivanhoe - M144 versus Jethro Tull - Stand Up (both 1969 I think).

The original vinyl release of M144 had a gatefold sleeve which - if you opened it - had a cardboard figure of a puppet theatre that stood up. Just like the stand-up photo of Tull.

Just came to think of these two obvious examples:

Speaking of black albums, AC/DC certainly weren't the first ones out:
