I was afraid someone was going to do that.  That album cover showed jaw-dropping depths of poor judgement and bad taste.  A lot of people pretty much assume that is the 'Smell the Glove' album parodied in Spinal Tap.

Lol, he was pretty famous back in the late 60´s and seventies. But no one really really remember him this days (I mean young people of course).

I think his last studio album was released on 1991. Do people still listen to new wave???

Here are some of rulli rendo´s album covers. Just for you ClemofNazareth!!! LOL

yup.

those are actually 4 album covers. Not very original huh?

Also, as you can see, in all his albums the word "toque" appears (wich means touch). Every single album title has the word touch, it is like his special touch . Rulli´s touch, Andean Touch, from touch to touch etc.

Againm not very original huh?

Maybe you're too young to know this but on those days we had a milirtary Government, so the curfews were very comon (The translation for curfew is TOQUE de queda).

So people made parties that started at the time the curfew started (11:00 pm normally) and ended at 6 am when the limitation was over was ove, so it was called "De toque a toque (From start of curfew to end of curfew).

All mediocre artists like this guy (Well, his music is infamous) made long songs that were a kind of medleys so people could dance for 20 minutes, so they used the word TOQUE all the time.

I really like this one. unfortunately I can't find a bigger pic. it is the original cover of "Hawk Meets Penguin" by the British Amon Düül. the penguin is standing on a kind of mine with a burning fuse attached, and the hawk is about to land on a similar mine. a weird nocturnal scene on a cemetery

That would make a good album cover for Opeth... the only thing you have to do is take the penguin out, and put some woman crying, perhaps.

This is the artwork painted by Bernard Xolotl for his album 'Last wave' released in 1982. I don't know anything by this artist but Philippe could probably enlighten me on his music. However, you have to admit that it's one of the most beautiful cover ever painted for a progressive album.
