I have seen Prog Britannia and most of the Classic Albums series, but what else is out there that is worth watching.
Bonus points for Youtube or magnet links.

I really enjoyed the Wobbler band documenting their process of making Rites at Dawn. Here's the first part of a dozen or so videos (the rest you can find by searching on YouTube)...

Hi,

There was a special on Krautrock that had 6 parts and was (probably) about 5 or 6 hours long. I remember the last part blanked out, probably because it had David Bowie in it. Its first 3 parts were absolutely fabulous and far out, and really specified and cleared up a lot of ideas and misconceptions about "krautrock" and how/where it really came from. Both Can and AD2 have stated many times before that they wanted to do something that was not marked by Anglo-American musical thoughts and ideas, and they clarify this well in that special.

The only thing missing is the 1972 music extravaganza with hundreds of musicians from around the world also talking about their music and spending time at the music schools where some of them actually taught music. Is some ways, this had a touch on it, however, the whole thing was more ART RELATED than it was music related, and this is the part that many of us rock'rs have a hard time dealing with. We seem to want rock music to be on its own and not a part of the rest of the world and the arts ... !!!!!

I'm wanting to get the Romantic Warriors series, were it not for the prices, although I will look again, and hope for the best.

Thank you for all the yes Docus.
I had not seen the Sounding Out show before and especially enjoyed that one.

Have you seen the Rush Backstage series?
Definitely one of my favourites

This is also my favorite, and they've done a handful of new ones this year, including "Morrison Hotel" (couldn't find it, though)

Hi,

Not to mention that the material that is left behind is excellent and worth a listen, and has been a part of Space Pirate Radio recently. What is insane is that 20/30 years has passed and we ignored so much of it, which tells you how much music of "NOW" we don't want to listen to because we're always into someone else, or something else!

PB's stuff, is far better than anything from YES in the last 30 years, specially as a lot of it was a bit more repetition of the stuff they had done before! And had the soul of a marionette, for my tastes!
