I don't recall seeing this posted anywhere else.

Sean Malone, bassist for Cynic, passed away last December, and earlier this month, his friend and bandmate Paul Masvidal wrote a tribute and revealed that the cause was suicide. He also released a song featuring Sean on bass with half the proceeds going to organizations for suicide prevention.
