I love Egg, the instrument choice, how many albums they released, Mont Campbells voice, the songs and their lyrics!

I like their choice of song topics and thoroughly enjoy the lyrics of their songs, even on ones I don’t quite love like Pusillanimous. Anyways any love for Eggs lyrics, for stuff like

“Half of the time I spend thinking alone, when I’m working out songs or just lying in the sun, the magical sound that I long to express, always just out of reach of my groping hands” ~ Excerpt from I Will Be Absorbed because full lyrics are a no no

“Everything I saw, Was a terrible bore, Because I’d seen it all before, And the one thing it told me, Was that what I had to do, Was to fight my way through, And try to think of something new” ~ Wring Out The Ground

Perhaps a bit “pretentious” but I love it nonetheless
