1985 - lots of great music, very little of it on PA. I had the resolution to only allow a very few artists not listed on PA into my lists, I have already listed Irmin Schmidt and may use Mick Karn later - those that I thoroughly believe should be here. Alas, I only have nine albums to be listed from PA in 1985, and no release by Schmidt or Karn, so I'll introduce Einstuerzende Neubauten here, and if I do that, there's no position for that album other than the top spot. I hope it's not going to be a habit, I'd really like to stick to the rules (or rather my interpretation of them  ), normally. Edit: I found some more that weren't correctly dated on my machine, so the Neubauten are out of competition now and there's an actual PA top ten. 1985 has no perfect albums, so ranking them after the clear winner, Power Windows, was difficult. I have Prog Line to thank for discovering the outstanding Dutch band, Differences. Their second and final album "A World of Difference" (1992) is well-worth a listen too.
