Nik Kershaw is among my favourite musician, hes two frist albums are gems to my ears. Here i am pairing the title tracks, the vocal strong song "Humam Racing" and the eternalized riff song that is "The Riddle" two majestic songs, Nik is a guy that writes superstrong songs. There are no weak tracks on neither Human Racing nor The Riddle albums. Nik plays guitar, bass and keys on both songs, hes an impressive bassplayer, and a very good guitarist. -------------

Two wonderful albums. Human Racing is a very impressive song, one of his best and that means quite something. The Riddle is nice but only in the midfield of quality of his first two albums. I like his work to this day; later albums are maybe not quite as spectacular, but there are always some very fine songs. |

I like hes abilaty to weave in celtic music and folk melodies into hes guitar /synth/new wave. He also sings with a natural meldody whivh is almost in dorian mode, hes phracings are naturaly semi-tones, half tones. Hes natural vocal melody is half tone based, which is interesting. -------------
