MULTIPLE IS ON!  Choose any/all tracks you like from the list (comment on your ranking if you wish).

I'm picking Soft Machine's "Kings And Queens", but Renaissance's song of the same name is good too, and Arzachel's "Queen St. Gang" and ELO's "Queen Of The Hours" would also be worthwhile contenders.

I like Camel and Soft Machine but this track is one of my favorites by Espers....a band that doesn't get enough mention in the folk prog area.

Sadly missing anything from the band Queen, and there are some excellent choices:

White Queen (As It Began)
The March Of The Black Queen
Killer Queen

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

You're right, "Sadly missing" from my digital library.  I don't have enough Queen, only a couple of albums.

The band is not a favorite of mine, but, yes, they are legendary.

Sorry if that came off mean spirited. Queen is my favorite band, so I'm liable to have a bit of an off reaction about them from time to time.

No worries.  Probably a lot more I missed too. I think the "Other" button is going to fill up this poll.

I dip in and out of Queen - have the first four albums - Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, plus Innuendo. The rest I can take or leave.

Can't decide between Camel and Soft Machine. Normally I don't like the easy way out to vote for both, but for once I'll do it. The Renaissance track is also cool.

As of now, I think no one has mentioned these nice tracks:

Anthony Phillips - Queen Bettine (demo, 1972) (4:16)
Ayreon - Valley of the Queens (2:25)
Cary Grace - Queen of Pentacles (extended version) (24:32)
Ciccada - Queen of Wishes (12:39)
Citizen Cain - To Dance the Enamel-Faced Queen / Beyond the Boundaries (10:24)
Curved Air - The Purple Speed Queen (3:28)
Dewa Budjana - Queen Kanya (6:59)
Eloy - Queen of the Night (5:22)
Pain of Salvation - Disco Queen (8:22)
Pendragon - Queen of Hearts (8:18)
Porcupine Tree - Queen Quotes Crowley (3:51)
Queen - God Save the Queen (1:18)
Rick Wakeman - Arthur's Queen (0:36)
The Flower Kings - Butterfly Queen (1:25)
The Psychedelic Ensemble - The Queen of Sorrow (8:22)
Tigran Hamasyan - The Glass Hearted Queen (3:17)
Tomas Bodin - A Drama Queen in a Sky Bar (3:05)

Wink

And I'll vote for Queen Bettine, wondering why this song, co-written by Anthony Phillips & Mike Rutherford in 1968, never got officially recorded.

The Queen of Sorrow by The Psychedelic Ensemble is also very interesting!

The March Of The Black Queen from Queen gets my vote. This one should be definitely there in the poll... although Queen isn't usually considered as progressive rock band, this song deserves progrock label for sure. One of the best moments Queen ever had. In fact almost the whole Queen II album is great.

In reflection, I have to agree with several people on this thread that it is a travesty the "March of the Black Queen" is not on this list. Far and away, the best titled and also the most intensely prog song by that name. It is literally an insane composition.
