Continuing ON with such prepositional madness: here are tunes from my library that begin with the word ON.
MULTIPLE IS ON, ON, ON! So choosing ALL of your favorites from the list is encouraged (not just one "winner"--these polls are really just for fun, discussion, and hopefully some discovery more than seeing which track will win).
Comment on any other ON tunes. Make sure your track BEGINS with "On..." (I'll probably do later polls with the word ON in the middle and/or end of the track title).
Here's a few (probably) lesser knowns from the list:
(Unfortunately couldn't find the Hugh Hopper tune, but I suppose many Soft Machine fans will know it)

I was On the Frontier of voting for Renaissance, but On Reflection I voted for On an Island with David Gilmour, although I'd sooner be On an Island with Enya in all honesty.
By the way, I can't believe I'm the first one to comment when sixteen votes have already been cast.

I think you're ON to something.
Well, multiple is ON, and the post is yet young...

"On Green Dolphin Street" is a beautiful composition. I wasn't familiar yet with either version of it in this poll but I'm really digging Barbara Long's take on it. That's my favourite song here, but "On The Bus", "On Reflection", "On The Corner" and "On The Silent Wings Of Freedom" get a vote from me as well.

Do you know who the original composer/performer of On Green Dolphin Street is?

Same song. Great song. I like the Bears reworking of it better. But all still the greatness of Adrian Belew.
**Sorry I don't know how to post inline YouTube videos with this crazy editor.
Well, if that ain't just the perfect song name for this poll!
Wow, Belew grew his hair out (the only vids I've seen of him are with KC from the 80s)
(To post an "inline" vid, you hit the button with the little film icon and copy and paste the URL into the top box)

On The Run is the most boring track on DSOTM in my opinion.
I'm amazed it's currently in the lead.
I voted for Transatlantic, I love the bass line in that.

For me it is one of the most evocative tracks on the album - along with Great Gig, it's a true song without words.

On an Island is a wonderful track, that I can't really listen to without starting off with Castellorizon.

Looks like the poll has essentially come to a conclusion, so some final thoughts before moving ON to the next one:
Some great Other vids posted!
More votes than I would have guessed for Enya.
Fewer votes than I thought for: Oscar Peterson, Zappa, Hopper, Kamelot, Transatlantic, and Krauss.
(For Hopper, its a fairly recent track; I guess Soft Machine fans must not be following his solo career this far)
It also may be that many people are not making multiple votes, or only making a couple. Unfortunately, for this platform you have to enter one at a time (rather than being able to select all you want at once), so I think that discourages/limits motivation for some selections.

I was on the verge of voting for On an Island with David Gilmour, but on second thoughts, I'd sooner be On the Frontier with Annie Haslam.
