None. :( In terms of great 70s German prog albums, my favorite is Adonis by Anyone's Daughter.

Voted for As Ra Temple. The Man Machine and Phaedra follow.

You caught me on the very day I am listening to 'Phaedra', so which one do you think I chose?

Tago Mago! I love the Man Machine, and Phaedra is a pretty significant album but my personal taste is more drawn to what TD did directly before and after.

I'm surprised no one has voted for Faust.

I've been on a huge Krautrock discovery thing as of late actually and I can't believe it: but i'm familiar with every single one of these. All phenomenal- so far:

Tago Mago>Zuckerzeit>Phaedra>Neu!=Man Machine>Faust IV>Ash Ra

This is definitely my kind of bag, Anders. Nice selection there
I could go with any one of three albums here (IV, Tago Mago and NEU!) but decided to opt for the fabulous selftitled NEW!
I wasn’t that crazy about Phaedra when I first got it but it has improved over the years. I still prefer a lot of TD albums leading up to it.

It's really hard to make a choice from this list. I guess I will vote for Faust at the end, but all are quite excellent.

I went with Neu! because it didn't have enough votes. Great album, that. I'm torn between that one and Phaedra; both great, but very different.

Every one of those is brilliant. I voted for Faust because nobody else did but i see more have since i did!

I'm fond of Ash Ra Tempel, Tago Mago, Faust IV and Neu!, but the favourite one? - not so sure.

Seems I missed this the first and second time around. This is one where I feel that I have to say, or want to say, "all of the above" due to all being favourites of mine.

Same here, and I would have voted Ash Ra Tempel or Can.

All so wonderful. I can't vote for any of the first four over the others:

1: Man Machine, Phaedra, Tago Mago, Zuckerzeit
2: Neu!, Faust IV, Ash Ra Tempel

-wait... looking at the Poll Statistics I changed my mind and went for Sugartime

Really? Do you agree with the "None"-part as well?

Auuuutoooooobaaaaahhhhnnnn!

Auuuutoooooobaaaaahhhhnnnn!

I’m convinced that song served as inspiration for other songs. At one point, there’s a riff that sounds eerily similar to the opening chord fingerpicking riff on La Villa Strangiato. In another part, there’s a descending melody that sounds like a line in Funky Town by Lipps, Inc.

^ probably 80's synth pop wouldn't have happened without Kraftwerk (allright might be a slight exaggeration and do they want this credit anyway?!) . I still can't get my head round the fact that The Model came out in 1978. Always seems way later!
