Simply, The Mars Volta are one of the leading acts of 21st century progressive rock, so which is your favorite album of theirs?
Mine has always been 'Frances the Mute'.

I love all their albums including Noctourniquet which got a lot of beating at the time of release, I think I started with Frances which the first half of it imo is TMV at its best but that second half makes me wanna sleep.

Anyway my fav is Amputechture!

De-loused all the way. FTM is great, too. Then they lost me with Amputechture.

De-Loused in the Comatorium. It blew me away when I first heard it.
