... Who am the Only One". Why do I recommend this version of the album? Not because of the remastering; I don't give a damn about these. No, I recommend it because of one of the bonus tracks: A blistering live in the studio version of "Squid/Octopus" that is more than 15 minutes long. I honestly can't imagine the album without this bonus track anymore. The other bonus track, an alternate version of "The Emperor in his War Room", is skipped by us when listening to the album. We usually don't skip tracks on an album, even if we don't like them. But if a bonus track is an alternate version of an album track we pick the better version. If this happens to be the bonus track we will listen to the album with the bonus track at the position of the original track; if the original version is better the bonus track will be skipped. No need to listen to the same track twice, even if the versions are different. I can't say anything about how good or bad the remastering is; I honestly have no ear for that. For me only the music counts. But that bonus track - holy cow! It is genuinely creepy!
