I once emailed with Bob about the possibility of releasing Soundscapes featuring solo artists (he did this, live, with Mike Keneally soloing on top of his loops), and Mr Fripp was a bit "cagey" in his email reply!  Now I know why!

Anyone of you know older albums by the Grid with Robert Fripp (Evolver, Doppelgaenger)? I bought Evolver in the 90s because I thought having Robert Fripp on it it could be a good bet to get me into Techno. Didn't really work. It's not terrible but not great either, and Doppelgaenger doesn't do much for me either. Any opinions?

The new one sounds cool though. There's still progress in the music world.
