Tin Machine released two albums. I thought this band was pretty good. Any one else like them?

I had both albums back in the day. I don't remember much about them except that Reeves Gabrels' guitar playing was excellent (and influenced by Robert Fripp I think).

Will have to check them out again. Thanks for bringing this up.

I thought that was some of the best actual rock music Bowie ever did....I was never a huge fan of Bowie after his classic lps from the 70's . For me this was as good as or better than any of his later albums where he tried to 'rock out'.

Sure. I mean it wasn't groundbreaking music by any means but a definitely solid rock band. Leaning to the alternative rock genre maybe. At the end of the day I think the two albums were enough.

Thank you for supporting independently produced music

It was pretty cool at the time to have Bowie leading a real band and playing loud guitar rock, but it hasn’t had a ton of lasting appeal for me. Good stuff though.

I really like the first album. Undecided on the second one.

One of Bowies less appreciated projects, strangely enough.
