I am Canadian...so BOTH. Gotta have the beauty of winter but the warmth of summer. The only downside to winter is the driving in bad weather or having to shovel snow. The only downside to summer is raking leaves and sunburns. ------------- Thank you for supporting independently produced music |

If I lived in a climate where the winters were more 'interesting' my choice may be different, but in southern England, winters are generally relatively mild and very wet, which is just depressing. There's very little snow, just black skies, rain and mud wherever you go. ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

I concur. Our local park has been a sea of mud for the last couple of months, so our lunch time walk has to be carefully planned to avoid the quagmire. Roll on summer and dry ground to walk on.

All the seasons have their perks and negative features. I think summer has the least negative features for where I live, so I picked that. Fall is a close second. Winter: Perks: don't have to mow the lawn Negs: shoveling snow; driving in snow or ice; cold winds suck; mud from melting snow; cold rains Spring: Perks: warmer temps; things turn green Negs: if the spring bloom is sudden, allergies kick in; mowing the lawn Summer: Perks: warm temps; tends to be dryer, so less mowing; quieter workplace (work at a university - fewer students) Negs: occasional heatwave, thunderstorms scare the dog Fall: Perks: cooler temps, but not bad; less mowing Negs: students come back; sometimes get mold allergies ------------- ---------- i'm shopping for a new oil-cured sinus bag that's a happy bag of lettuce this car smells like cartilage nothing beats a good video about fractions |

Growing up in British Columbia, winter was my favourite. Well, I liked summer just about as much. We had ski mountains close by and I skied every chance I got — at least until a ski racing accident slowed me down. Also went up to Whistler and Blackcomb regularly. I also loved the summer, mostly for sailing, climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. I was very much an outdoors person. I live south of Tucson, Arizona USA, and last summer we had temperatures exceeding 50º C!! Evenings are pleasant, but during daylight, it is deadly. Our winter was just fine, no snow unlike nearly the rest of the bloody States. ------------- I am not a Robot, I'm a FREE MAN!! |

Summer by far. I love the long days (up to 16h44m at Summer Solstice on my latitude) and the warm temperatures, even though some heatwaves, as we had in 2019 and 2020, are a bit too much. I like the sights of fresh snow and skating people, such as we had in February, as well, but they cannot compete. -------------

After working outside for over 40 years i can say that Spring and Autumn are definately my favourites.. Winter (which as has already been said, is not a real Winter in the southern UK, just dark, damp and dismal) has screwed up my joints (no, not those sorts of joints.. they got screwed a long time ago..) and lungs and summer (lovely as it is, when its lovely) has just given me dehydration and melanoma.. ------------- |

Winter - only because its so cold that I sleep better. It's also much quieter when there's 2 feet of snow, -15 F.

I always prefer sleeping in cold weather too. Though, I can sleep easily and comfortably; unless there's some extremely hot weather, or cold weather and I don't have enough stuff to cover my body. |

I don’t like the cold, which makes this poll easy to answer. Ideally, I’d live somewhere with only temperatures between 10-30° C. 30 is too hot in the long run, but periods in the summer is fine. 20-25° C is perfect. Snow is not something I’m particularly thrilled about either. All my favorite activities are done in the summer half. The lack of sun in the winter is not helping either. The best part about winter is sitting indoors playing video games or drinking wine. |

Weather-wise, i prefer cold weather (winter), as it doesn’t get horribly cold where I live and only occasionally snows. Summer…I think…but then again I am very grateful to live in a country that actually experiences 4 seasons. Judging by my viking-like stature my fave should probably be winter as I hardly ever feel cold…but I love the summer. ^ If I happen to decide on living abroad, I likely would choose Denmark. Your culture seems nice, so does your climate. I love cold weather, but I'm not sure if I could endure the Norwegian one. But honestly, I'm happy to be in my country (Turkey). I don't envision myself living in another, under normal circumstances. |
