As always, an impressive lineup. But their albums always sound like a mish-mash of different styles and genres. I find them hard to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the material is pretty bland and characterless. Music by numbers.  As noted though, interesting line-up. It's too bad more couldn't be made of the opportunity.

And the reason behind the bland sound is of course Sherwood's dated production!

^ Exactly why I'm worried about his renewed involvement with Yes. Actually, about Heaven and Earth, which I found rather underwhelming, later I found out that the vocals, in particular, were produced by him... and it's just as the vocals come in that the songs go downward, as far as I'm concerned. I just don't understand why they didn't go with Trevor Horn to produce the album, that should have helped them well enough.
