...is it possible to recognize it?

 Lemmings (Including Cog) and Sleepwalkers could be easily on the top of the list, but I think that this band is at a so high prog level that few of their tracks shouldn't be included on the top!

Maybe these two albums could be considered the highest examples of PROG!

Hi Andrea, agree with you, Van der Graaf are my fav band and in each moment of their career have been able to express a prog character: I don't think there are similar examples in the same scene cause even real prog bands like GG through the years tried to realize an economic success despite prog origins...
Most prog VdGG song IMO is The Plaugue of Lighthouse Keepers

VdGG are prog VIPs if any. However I always prefered H to He... over a Plague of... I much enjoy Lost and The emperor...
