Here's a more lighthearted thread: Share an experience/memory/story that you have with a particular album. This first time it's Gong's debut release 'Magick Brother'! When did you hear that record for the first time and how do you find it after all these years?

*I will try to make these threads, should they be liked by the fellow forum users, for not so obvious albums*

Hi,

Sorry ... my emails and conversations with the Magick Brother and Mystic Sister will unpublished until I am done and gone. And even then, who knows or cares, right?

The majority of people have no idea what Daevid and Gilly were really about, and most can not reconcile their relationship and children, with the music and how long it lived.

"Beat poetry and lyrics" never had a better pair of representatives, from Gilly reading a long pile of computer paper on the SFPMF in 1999, to her ability to free form (one of the best!) and almost do it better than Daevid, who was more bent into making sure that the free form made sense, instead of it feeling like it was just a run of meaningless words.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
