I don't even remember how I stumbled across Good God, but I am so glad I did. Their one album is now one of my all-time favorites in the prog, fusion, jazz-rock universe.

I would really love if the album could be re-issued by somebody, as I would like to gift it to some of my friends who appreciate killer musicianship and endlessly fascinating compositions.

Who's with me?

Good God is\was from my neck of the woods (Philadelphia).  They played in my college 'pub' early to mid 70s. It was a fantastic show (considering most of the people in there were drunk and had only ever heard of Billy Joel or Hall & Oates).  I really thought they were going to be bigger but that never happened.  At the time they played at my school they told me they were working on what would have been their second album.  So somewhere, somebody has tapes of unreleased Good God music.

Good God; damn fine band.  I didn't know it (or remember it), but I liked all of the tracks posted and especially found A Murder of Crows to be killer!

Thumbs Up

Wow!!!

First, I can't believe you got to see them perform. That is very, very cool.

Second, I really hope those tapes surface and get released. It's time!
