The Gardening Club will release a two-track digital single "Strange Kingdom" and "The Owl" as their first release via Melodic Revolution Records.

The Gardening Club is a 3 piece Canadian progressive rock band dusted with a blend of jazz and classical elements, the two-track digital single "Strange Kingdom" will be released in mid to late October 2020.

"Strange Kingdom" is a song about the joy and craziness of being in a band, specifically in Germany in 1973, and "The Owl" is about the ineffable experience of an avian encounter that I had when I was eight years old. It has never left me. You know, haunted, in a way I don't understand. So I wrote a lyric. And then ... More soon, of course."
