Does anyone have any news about this band, or links to any sites or discussions? The official site hasn't been updated for a while - does the band still exist?

What do you think about their last effort?

I downloaded Three Colours and played it on the iPod when out running and quite liked it. Then I played it at home and heard the lyrics..... Hmmmmm.

Your right about the lyrics, but it doesnt ruin the music.Especially the first cd is great, the second cd drags on a bit.One song in 52 min,and i lovelong songs.

I have seen Galleon live, have heard one of their albums and have wanted to like them, but somehow I just can't get into them; they just a bit too insipid; there's nothing that's striking enough about them to get me interested...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

'From Land To Ocean' has really grown on me after 3 or 4 plays, there are so many sections straight out of Camel, Yes, Marillion and Genesis (listen to the instrumental section from 'Firth of Fifth' at the end of 'The Price').  Just wanted to know more about the band though, and what their plans are.
