So do you prefer the original intro that comes right in on Dawn of Light..........Or do you prefer the extended intro on the Remastered edition?.

I heard the extended first, and after becoming accustomed to it. So when I heard the original intro, it seemed kind of abrupt and unnatural.

I Think the original captures the essence of the song better than the extended version.

I love the extended intro with all the wave sounds. In my opinion it creates a wonderful mood that lasts the entire album.

After hearing the extended intro I was stunned they dropped it...i thought it suited the whole ALBUM so much better....having said that I am totally into atmospherics, so I would say that..

Only just got into this album. I know what the hell am i doing on this site if
i've never "got" one the classics. I could never have the patience to listen to
endless tweedly bits even by master muscians.
But hey as i've got older i can now see the error of my ways and now really
appreciate both this album and other tweedly classics.
Did not know that the remastered version was different so will have to check
that out.

I think the extended version leads into the vocals quite nicely.

Definitely the extended version - when I heard it it just sounded right. Can't believe they never included it on the original - at first I wondered whether there was a problem with the vinyl pressing I had.
