Hey, this is a hard rock track by a non hard rock band. Pink Floyd. This track got me checking their back catalog since it's so different from the others in The Wall.

I really dug the grittyness, hardness, raw edgy feeling ot gave off its riffs. So I reckoned their early demos could harbor such amazing hardrocking (they would easily start off as hard rock, before becoming progressive, other than the other way round).

So I'll say I was not as lucky, Even as Aerosmith didn't satisfy my need for such grittyness, (must be really similar in riff edginess). Just recommend away the next closest similar tracks/releases.

On another hand, there's groove(groovy?) hard rock like this I'd want to hear. It's called The Wildcat by Bermuda County.

For more gritty Floyd I’d check out The Nile Song and Ibiza Bar, both of which featured on More

Young Lust kinda reminds me of the more rockier stuff from Bryan Adams. But probably not....

Well, Bryan Adams did sing the vocals for that song during the performance of The Wall Waters gave in Berlin in 1990.

I'd recommend checking out the alternate version of "Young Lust" by Pink Floyd. It's longer, slower, funkier, and the lyric delivery is really cool.

How about City of Love by Yes (from 90125)? Great loud riff rocker from a band not known for that kind of thing. Pretty good parallel (hey, Parallels!) to Floyd/Young Lust.

I thought it was back in the Summer of ‘69. Those were the best days of my life.

that Yes City of Love is what I'm looking for. also sounds like a mixture of Young Lust and MJ's Black/White.

im frantic, so I'll loosen up a bit. i found Not Now John by the Floyd, which is like a different version of Young Lust. anything similar to that too will do.

Ibiza bar is really nice. Just when I thought they had sludge(!) tucked in a song I can't recall off The Wall, they still do got some stuff I haven't gotten around.

You may be known as keyboard-driven prog band known for long orchestral passages and profound lyrical expression, but if you are Procol Harum and Robin Trower is your lead guitarist anything is possible.
