I didn't know there are so many drummers under the same name. I chose Bill Bruford because he is the only one of all Bruford drummers I know. Who are the others ?

 Well, the results are in, and it looks like it's Bill Bruford (that's MR. BRUFORD to you!) by a hair. I'm amazed and pleased that we all agree on this one! Wink Of course, Bill IS the BEST!

The easiest answer to this is schitzophrenia; two complete personalities live in my head, one believes Bill Bruford is God, the other bows down to Neil Peart.

If there was a drummer who had played with several top prog acts - for example, Yes, King Crimson and Genesis, and who had perhaps also done some jazz fusion solo albums and possibly even given up playing prog for acoustic jazz, then I think we'd have a clear winner.
