I haven't heard of Barbara Thompson, but I know Barbara Dennerlein after you introduced me to her. Smile

here is a clip of Barbara Thompson and her band Paraphernalia:

the title of the track is "Close to the Edge" but has nothing whatever to do with the famous Yes track if the same name. the drummer is her husband Jon Hiseman who died in 2018.

Barbara Thompson also played in Colosseum, the band of her husband, replacing Dick Heckstall-Smith on short notice when he became ill with kidney failure (he died shortly afterwards). she only had 10 days of rehearsal before their first gig which was recorded for Rockpalast; here a link to that concert:

she also was a member of the famous United Jazz & Rock Ensemble (together with her husband), here a link to a clip of them:

I was lucky enough to see Barbara Thompson with Coloseum at a very small venue in my home town . I used to only live about 5 minutes from the venue so happy days.
I don't know the other Barbara.
