One of the best combinations of voice, appearance, and ability there ever was.

Wonderful actor, always nailed whatever part he played no matter how different and yet still remained true to himself.

He played the knight in one of my favourite movies: "The Seventh Seal" by Ingmar Bergman. R.I.P.

I saw him in many movies, the ones I remember are Flash Gordon, Minority Report, Judge Dredd, Needful Things, Dune, Conan, and The Exorcist. R.I.P.

Hi,

Loved him in a lot of things ... the best one? STEPPENWOLF ... a film that needs to be remastered and let out again ... but it has one problem ... it only makes sense if you are willing to listen ... otherwise it falls apart quickly ... and the cartoon sections are great!

other great bits worth watching:

UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD (Wenders)
THE OX (Nykvist)

There was an album by Ralph Lundsten (I think it was him!!! not sure now!), that had an actor, dong various voices from all over the world, and I am not sure this was not Max Von Sydow, and it was far out and really on it, at least how we hear and see it, even within a film perspective. I wish I knew which album that was ... exactly ... I have it on tape on one of Guy Guden's Space Pirate Radio shows ... but I really do not know whose album it is.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
