I loved chronotrigger & earthbound...Never finished them though, maybe I'll dig them out Harvest Moon was a great game, even if its not RPG... |

I love all of the titles in the Final Fantasy Series, but I think the
best one is still Chrono Trigger, although Mario RPG and Zelda are
excellent as well...but you forgot the old Lord of the Rings RPG.
I'm not a big LOTR fan, but the game is awesome!

Ok, here it goes, MY TOP 10: 01- Final Fantasy V 02- Star Ocean 03- Chrono Trigger 04- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 05- Terranigma 06- Bahamut Lagoon 07- Secret of Mana 08- Final Fantasy VI 09- Super Metroid 10- Tales Of Phantasia Ok, I didn't finish Earthbound and Ys from that list.

Yeah, DOOM is certainly AMAZING. The best game EVER. Just citing it already makes me wanna cry. It's sooooooo beautiful..  .

I love SNES, it was my first TV game consol ever Super mario world was the first game, after that Zelda a link to the past, well i still think that Super Nintendo was and are the best TV game consol ever, PS, PS2 sucks! Nintendo rules 4ever! BTW Super Metroid is not a RPG, but still its one of the best games ever made! And Demon’s Crest is not RPG ithere. Well here is my list: 1. Legend of Zelda: a link to the past 2. Secret of Mana 3. Seiken Densetsu 3 4.Chrono Trigger 5. Final Fantasy IV 6. Final Fantasy VI 7. Soul Blazer 8. Ilusion of Gaia 9. Final Fantasy V 10. Earthbound Well it feels like some games are mising but cant remember right now... -------------

It's easy for me to vote for a Final Fantasy game, and since IV dosen't have any votes...I'll vote for IV. Final Fantasy games are always going to be the definition of what a console RPG should be. Iv had excellent twists to the storyline, amazing characters that make you want to cheer with great revelry after you defeat Zeromus, and adequate game time. V was quite lacking, i felt the chraracters were very bland and the crystals were in one game too many. I loved VI if i didn't vote for IV i would vote for VI. VI diversified the characters and as much as it resembled Final Fantasy II, it was different from all the others including the modern games. VI got away from the crystals too, that was a BIG plus. (+) get the idea? Chrono Trigger is close, so close they rereleased it with VI... Star Ocean is a great trilogy now, but i don't want to vote for blue sphere... -------------

This is way too damn hard! For me, it's either Chrono Trigger or A Link to the Past. Then FFVI. All such great games. I haven't played any of the others, besides Super Mario RPG and Earthbound, though.

Final Fantasy VI is my favourite, it has everything: excellent plot, great characters, awesome music (the opera, Dancing Mad, etc.)... I always thought Chrono Trigger was childish, probably because of the designs by Akira Toriyama. ------------- Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends... |
