Ann Wilson is a great singer and a really good songwriter

Zero, and I mean ZERO contest here. Wilson completely slays Harry. The music backing her was better as well. As were the songs. These two are are not even in the same musical universe.

Heart easily. Better singing, better music, better for my ears.

Blondie for me, bearing in mind I have three albums by Blondie and none by Heart, although I'm planning to change that soon when I go out and buy the Heart 5-CD box set. Smile

The right choice is not possible. Although for me it is Blondie

I have a heart of glass, so Blondie it is.

It has to be Blondie for me too as I only know one song by Heart: Barracuda

Not a big fan of either, but in my youth liked a little Heart (even bought two their albums cheap), so it gets my vote.

This is not a fair fight....two different genres really. All of Blondie's releases are easily destroyed by Dreamboat Annie, Blondie does not even make it past the first round.

Hard pass all around, but if I must choose, Blondie.

Yep. I don't hate Blondie and in fact I like them but I'm a lot more familiar with Heart so by default at least it's Heart for me.

Heart by far. Blondie never did a thing for me. A ridiculously overrated band.

However that song is just so good whereas I'm not sure anything by Blondie gets close. Heart Of Glass is perhaps their best song but still falls way short for me.

I just recalled another well-known song by Heart: These Dreams. I was planning to buy a 5-CD box set by Heart in the Classic Albums series but it's just gone up in price to £17 when most CD box sets are £12.

Something of a mismatch is afoot here but an interesting poll nevertheless:
Brilliant pop group with at least 12 singles that everyone in the world can remember v Led Zep lite wannabees with erm...1 song that anyone in the world might remember? (Did Heart release singles in the UK? cos I never heard any apart from the 'glam by numbers' Barracuda)
