Outstanding prog jazz metal band. I think they are incredible. Any other fans here?

Yep. I don't have any of their stuff but I saw them at Rosfest and got my picture taken with two of them.

I just sent you a picture not that I would make it up or anything. Lol. Some random guy who probably was not part of the festival took it. He probably had no idea why I wanted my picture taken with these guys. Lol.

I have Soul Alert and really like it.  Some of their other material comes off a little too "metallic" for my tastes.

I've never heard of Progressive Jazz Metal before, but I'll make special provision to add them to my Prague Archives playlist. They sound like a jazzy version of Dream Theater. Thumbs Up

Never heard, but since the Grump recommends them, I'll probably eat it up, yum!

Discovered them more than 10 years ago. Fantastic band!

I'm particularly fond on their album "Soul Alert". It has the right mix of jazz, prog, and metal for me. Some of their other albums are a tad more metallic than my tastes allow.

^To date, Soul Alert is probably my favorite by them also. Their first release Space Cafe is all fusion with no metal bits at all. It is interesting to see the band evolve on each album. Their most recent release is in the metalish zone, but I still like it.

Thanks to all for reviving this three year old thread to show appreciation for this killer band.

I didn't realise it was a three-year-old thread until you mentioned it. I thought you'd just posted it this week. There's providence for you. Smile
