This poll goes to eleven, to paraphrase Spinal Tap. Wink

This additional poll includes some of the glaring omissions from Guitarist Magazine's list of Top 100 Guitar Heroes.

The Top 2 guitarists from this poll will go through to the final face-off round.

Feel free to suggest any of your favourite guitarists missing from Guitarist Magazine's Top 100 list which I'll edit into this poll.

That's a tough choice on that list......went with Duane, a fave from the old days..... but Fripp, Hillage, Mason, Taylor, Thompson, etc are all great.

I choose Gary Green here, although I could also pick Andy Latimer. Gary Green is underrated.

Roine Stolt. The greatest guitar hero of all time.

Nice one.
I wouldn't be that superlative about Roine, but yes, he generally doesn't get his due and he does at least deserve to be in the conversation.

this poll also lacks late great Glen Buxton whom played some of the most awesome solos in early 70s.

Red alert: Jan Akkerman was missing. I went back to see how he did, but he wasn't there. One of my favorites.
