Subject: question regarding reviews

I recently wrote a review (of Sultan by Pete Namlook and Burhan Ocal) and thought I would post it elsewhere, then thought about 1) the ethics of such an action (I would probably say where I originally posted it, link to the original?) and 2) the rules of this site - I can't find anything relating to this question.

So if someone writes a review here at progarchives, are there any guidelines about posting elsewhere?

Here are the rules, looks like posting a PA review elsewhere is okay with this site. Check also with the site you want to post on, some sites only want reviews that are unique to their site.

I've been posting on ProgArchives and MetalMusicArchives since 2013 and have included all reviews on Rate Your Music. Occasionally an artist will ask if they can use a snippet or two for an album and no one has told me otherwise.

Thank you for the feedback! I did look at the page about writing reviews and didn't see anything specifically addressing my question, but I suppose that is an answer in itself? I believe in giving credit where credit is due, so I don't think I should have any problems. I appreciate your responses.

(I'm writing a few different things in memory of Pete Namlook - my review of Sultan, a few Instagram posts, hopefully culminating in a blog post this Friday, the actual date of his passing. I linked to my review from my IG post, I'll probably incorporate my review of Sultan into my blog)

I did it! Put some stuff on my blog (like redoing my review of Sultan for a more general audience) and made a post here:  http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=121439&PID=5700906&#5700906" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=121439&PID=5700906&#5700906
