Syncatto is the solo project of Artificial Language's virtuoso guitarist Charlie Robbins plus guest musicians (Ryan Yamaoka - saxophone, Jonathan Simpson - piano) on some tracks. Debuted in 2015, he has released 4 EP's under the name Syncatto. His music is fusion of the modern djent-y syncopated sound, with a huge tinge of Steve Vai's melodic phrasing, some jazz-y elements especially on "A Place to Dream" and even flamenco-styled acoustic guitar on his 2019 release "Coloratura". Heavily inspired by Plini.
