It's rare, but I love to do it.. Create my own scenes, perhaps future
scenes (and then seeing how it actually plays out).. Usually inserting
myself and editing it to expand the imagination. Sometimes I'll wonder
about a remake, and how it would be made modern.

Hi,
Not in this sense for my mind, but I have a series of writings that I am keeping hidden on purpose, because it is a bit on the incendiary side of things, and it might give people the wrong impression about some folks and their music ... it's a bit scary ... but some dreams are too real for me not to write them down ... and actually believe them inside ... for example ... and I have seen it more than once, watching Roger Daltrey before a loud scream, and you can just about feel it in his mind and voice ... "I don't want to do this anymore!" ... and honestly, I can't blame him, specially after watching him do some acting in some pieces out there that was actually very good, but my thoughts are/were that he was not allowed off the stage to kiss WHO songs! Jailed, as it were.
In terms of wanting to "redo" the film, not really, but a pause here in there to visit the loo, often gives your mind an interesting bit or two ... and it is more interesting in films where you can see the organizational contents all over the place because you know it is possible ... ex: a Godard film. You come back from the loo and it seems ... not as great, or as fun.
But, generally, being a person that goes "inside" the film story, and live there during the film, I tend to be a fairly attentive person to the point where "references" to other films, in lines, or visual, is usually not as important to the whole thing as the story continuing ... and this is something that has bothered me a lot in a lot of films ... where their hipness in the art, becomes more important than the whole thing itself, which becomes crap, and this is one of the things that bothers me about Tarantino, as an example.
Reminds me of Godard ... he apparently didn't like the scene as it filmed and went, and the film goes backwards for a couple of minutes, until it got to the point he wanted, and then restarted again, slightly different, of course ... and this is something that my mind does a lot, depending on the strength of the story and film ... for example, two thirds of the Hollywood cheap crap that is over rated with the advertisements of how much money it made ... all I see is money thrown around, not a real film. But watching a Trier, or Godard, who have a budget as big as your empty wallet, is different ... they tend to be more interesting and less wasteful, even if what they do appears weird and off kilter, and sometimes, down right weird and just plaiin ... who cares?

You know, I remember having a movie discussion with you before, and I might have seen a few of your recommendations, since I remember you having great taste.
I think it is too futile for me to write, although I'd like to, but I end up saying "What's the use?"...
Speaking of big budgets, I usually don't care for the over-editing. I seem to like movies with few characters, to get to know them more. I also don't need many settings.

I think you over criticize yourself ... to me, your opinion is as good as anyone else's including mine ... I just seem to remember a lot of things and loved watching them, because I always feel I learned something from them ... and this is where so much "international" film fits for me.
I'm not sure I have great taste, since there are times when looking at the lists in the Portland IFF, and I tend to look at the "sex/sex'y" suggestive stuff first ... why? An argument by two people, or a couple just does not seem to interesting when you are 68! So, yeah, my taste can be a bit jaded sometimes, but every now and then one thing comes along ... that while this or that ... is totally different and has a perspective that is amazing ... I like that ... and since I was born in a house of literature (already said over 40K books of Portuguese/Brazilian and Spanish Literature), if there is one thing that you learn in reading a lot of different things? .... VIVE LA DIFFERENCE as the French love to say, thus "something else" makes it better for me.
You have listed and shown, an incredible amount of material ... so adding some comments to it is not an issue, for me at least ... since all you are doing as getting me to try and go find it and catch it. Something that is getting difficult, but hopefully I can find something!

AND, it is not her best moment ... it was in the Actor's Studio thing when she was there during the last minutes when they allow the actors to talk to the students ...
It was very simple, very basic, and it told you everything you ever wanted to know about "acting". After hearing that, you realize this is one important moment and what it means ... and how so many actors/actresses do not make it in the business!
But yeah, it takes some guts and understanding of what you are doing!

It might not have been Sharon Stone's finest moment, but I thought she was superb in the movie as a whole and if you want to see another excellent movie starring Sharon Stone, I would suggest "Diabolique".

Is your username a self-description? It would appear so judging from your inane and pathetic comments so far. You're just a silly mischievous troll who's clearly only here to cause trouble. Most of our members here are perfectly able to be polite and civil to one another despite our political differences, but it seems that is beyond your capabilities.

^ haha, I feel sorry for you, truly I do, if you believe all this clap-trap you are spewing out about Trump etc. You also appear to lack self awareness. Hell yes I was having a go at you as a response to you spamming about trump, etc. I see you have now been reprimanded for trolling, but continue to troll pictures of Trump, etc. You really are a sad indictment of the English education system.
But I waste my breath. If you really know anything about prog you would know Nutter Alert is probably the stand out track on Van Der Graaf Generator's (a musical group) triumphant return in 2005. Actually some of the lyrics of that song fit quite nicely for you:
"Comprehensively lost, the plot.
And how contorted is that logic
You so forcefully exert:
You're a car crash in the making,
Head-on, that's a racing cert."
