I just had the weirdest, coolest dream ever! I was going on holiday with my girlfriend and her mum and dad. But her dad was Steve Hackett! He kept falling asleep though...Then me and my girlfriend went to this building which was actually my school, and on stage playing was KING CRIMSON! I WAS LIKE WTF OMFG! So I sat ON the stage watching them! There weren't many people at the gig, so when they went off I shouted to Tony Levin "Oi Tony! Nice one mate!" and he returned a witty remark. Then he invited me to his room which was actually a complete dump, then he gave me some sweets and signed a condom wrapper for me  then my friend from school came in and told me Camel were playing on stage!?!?!? I went out and it was Celine Dion. ARGH!

Anyone else had prog dreams?

Well, that must be the perfect girlfriend.

That was a real mean friend.

I use to have weird dreams all the time, but I can't recall anyone including prog

Anyway, after reading the booklet text of The Lamb, I've started wondering if the story of the album originally was a dream of Peter Gabriel.

One of my dream had a funny part. I was walking somewhere in a city, and a noticed a famous band sitting on a cafeteria terace sipping esperesso. The band was at the same time MOTÖRHEAD (late 90's with Lemmy shaven) and 74 KING CRIMSON trio with Wetton, Fripp and Bruford.

haha! Dreams can make great stories. I used to write them down when I was 12 but I stopped cos it took too long to describe them all. Another weird thing I remembered about my dream is that when I spoke to Tony Levin he had a Northern accent. Isn't he american?

I had a great dream about year ago where I was walking with my girlfriend and her young son across the lawn of a huge mansion. It was a cool misty morning and the only sound other than bird song was the sound of Pink Floyd making strange noises somewhere nearby.

We found the Floyd, 30 years younger than they are now  with all their equipment stacked up in this huge ampitheatre. We sat down and they played what sounded like 'Careful with that axe Eugene' It was all very 'Pompei' chilled and hippy-ish.

They finished playing and came over and said hello. Dave Gilmour gave me some plectrums...

My relationship fell apart shortly after that...

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
